Deloitte & Touche Corporate Finance LLC (“DTCF”) today announced that Robert W. Pilcher has joined the Chicago office as a Managing Director, where he will lead the national building products sector team. Pilcher will be involved in delivering all services offered by DTCF, including sales and divestitures, acquisitions, joint ventures and alliances, capital raising and corporate development. He joins Andy Isgrig and Will Frame, both Managing Directors, DTCF, who lead the Chicago Office.
DTCF is a registered broker dealer offering sophisticated investment banking advisory services to companies of all sizes—large corporations pursuing tactical, middle market deals, mid-sized companies engaged in “life event” transactions and private equity groups.
Pilcher’s move to the Midwest practice of DTCF is a result of growth that the group continues to experience. In 2006, DTCF, together with the corporate finance practices of the member firms of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu (“DTT”) and their affiliates, was ranked among the top global middle-market firms providing investment banking services based on deal volume (Source: Thomson Financial. With respect to global rankings of DTCF, the Deal Value and Number of Deals are based on the aggregate deal value and number of deals undertaken by the corporate finance practices of the member firms of DTT.)
Pilcher has nearly 16 years of mid-market investment banking and accounting experience, and has advised clients on mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, management buyouts, leveraged buyouts, hostile takeovers, debt and equity placements and strategic planning for both private and public companies. In addition to advising clients in the building products sectors, and his experience spans a variety of sectors including manufacturing, industrials, retail, distribution, business services, food, agriculture and financial services.

Pilcher received his B.S. in Business with a major in Accounting from Miami University (Ohio) and his M.B.A. in Finance and Strategy from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. He frequently returns to Miami University as a guest speaker.
