Wichita Water Conditioning, Inc. has acquired certain assets of Coffee Time, Inc. d/b/a Prestige Coffee Systems and Prestige Marketing, Inc. d/b/a Riffels Coffee (collectively “Prestige Coffee Group”). Transaction terms were not disclosed.

RSM EquiCo Capital Markets LLC was retained by Coffee Time, Inc. and Prestige Marketing, Inc. to explore and identify potential buyers.

Founded in 1959, Prestige Coffee Group is an integrated coffee roaster and coffee service provider located in Wichita, Kan. The company’s coffee service sells “Riffels” and “Prestige” branded coffee products to over 6,600 office and convenience store customer accounts located throughout Kansas, Oklahoma, and Missouri. The company also provides coffee and tea brewing equipment as well as tea, condiments and other side items. Prestige Coffee Group’s distribution network includes 16 warehouse locations that are replenished on a weekly basis and support 40 daily delivery routes. Coffee roasting activities are primarily dedicated to supporting the company’s coffee service business. However, branded and private label coffee is also sold on a wholesale basis to restaurants, hotels and retail outlets. The company’s roasting facilities produce approximately one million pounds of roasted coffee per year.

Wichita Water Conditioning, Inc. is the third largest Culligan franchisee in the United States. The company provides bottled water, drinking water systems, water softeners, Culligan air conditioning systems, and coffee service to customers located throughout the Midwest. Wichita Water Conditioning, Inc. is located in Wichita, Kan.
