  Saw Mill Capital Adds Partners and Staff
 
 

Saw Mill Capital, an East Coast middle-market private equity firm with an expanding national portfolio, has announced that William Gerstner and John Shaia have been made Partners of Saw Mill Capital. Mr. Gerstner and Mr. Shaia, formerly Principals of Saw Mill Capital, join Howard Unger and Scott Budoff as Partners of the firm.

Mr. Unger, Saw Mill's Managing Partner commented that, "Mr. Gerstner and Mr. Shaia have been valued members of the firm for many years and this action reflects their importance to the future growth of Saw Mill Capital, as we deploy our current $270 million fund. Mr. Gerstner and Mr. Shaia will continue to lead two of the firm's three transaction teams and will be responsible for sourcing and executing transactions, as well as working closely with our portfolio company's management teams to achieve our growth and profitability goals."

Additionally, the firm has made the following new hires: Timothy Mikullitz, Vice President, James Ray, Associate, and Kristi Ramos, Fund Accountant.

Mr. Mikullitz comes from PriceWaterhouseCoopers and American Capital Strategies as well as Platinum Equity and Northlight Capital. He is a graduate of Bucknell University and completed his MBA at The University of Chicago.

Mr. Ray joins the firm after completing a two year analyst program at RBC Capital Markets and additional experience with Bear Stearns and Morgan Keegan. He graduated from Rhodes College with a BA in Business Administration and Economics.

Ms. Ramos joins the firm from Fuji Graphics Systems, USA
