The Financial Times notes that private equity investment money is coming into funds faster than funds can invest it. The result is a lot of gunpowder awaiting a trigger. Capital available by these funds stands at $297 billion, which equates to buying power of about $1,485 billion. It will get harder to find suitable investments, with some many player chasing a dwindling number of opportunities. So not every fund will fare as well as the winners of the past few years . . .
